Concert: FullBlown-Filipino Edition

We are excited to announce that this free concert series returns in 2024, and features a diverse lineup of entertainers, representing the many cultures that make up central New Jersey. They all start at 2:00 pm. Please note that all performances are indoors.
 
Grant funding has been provided by the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners through a grant award from the Middlesex County Cultural and Arts Trust Fund.

FullBlown!, renowned for its vibrant cover renditions with an emphasis on the horn section, celebrates its cultural roots with an upcoming special event: FullBlown! Pinoy Edition. This unique concert will spotlight our Filipino members, honoring our immigrant heritage with a performance dedicated entirely to Original Pilipino Music (OPM). OPM is a genre deeply embedded in the Filipino soul, encompassing a wide range of musical styles, from folk and rock to pop and jazz, all while reflecting the Philippines' rich cultural tapestry. It's a genre that tells the stories of Filipino life, love, and identity, resonating with heartfelt lyrics and melodies. This showcase is not just a performance; it's a homage to our homeland, an invitation to experience the depth and diversity of Filipino music. Join us for an evening where we celebrate the sounds of the Philippines through the universal language of music.
