Dr. Sangeetha Pabolu will discuss arthritis and its symptoms, why and how people develop it, how to prevent it and when to seek medical attention. Participants will learn about types of arthritis and their treatment options.
Dr. Sangeetha Pabolu is a board-certified rheumatologist and is currently serving as the chief of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Saint Peter's University Hospital. She is a core clinical faculty member in the department of internal medicine and actively involved in educating and training residents. She is an assistant professor with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Pabolu’s rapport with patients, medical knowledge, and dedication as a physician contribute to superior patient care and satisfaction. She believes that comprehensive approach to patient care and careful consideration of all aspects of patient’s health is critical in appropriately diagnosing and treating the patients. Her interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, curriculum development for trainees, teaching and active involvement in the leadership of residency program. She is actively engaged as an invited speaker in several community outreach programs for arthritis awareness and musculoskeletal disorders.
