EB Astronomy presents: "Space Frontiers"

Thursday, July 18, 7:30pm

Join the East Brunswick Astronomy Club for their next meeting, where there will be a presentation on, "Space Frontiers"!

Space Frontiers is a journey through US space exploration history. Join us to engage and relive our explorations and growing. Artifacts from our history will be shown. Some of these items have been flown. Other items are un-flown but have helped pave the way for our journey. Some of the artifacts shown are EVA gloves from the Space Shuttle program, small RCS steering thruster, food flown both onboard the Space Shuttle and Apollo Command Module to the Moon on Apollo 8, a full pressure suit, a piece of Martian meteorite and more.
During the presentation, a video showing life onboard the International Space Station will be shown along with photos of key moments in space exploration history. We will also delve into current and future missions into our solar system.

Questions about what NASA is currently working on for our planet and humanities future hopefully will be addressed.

Joe F Bruce’s degree is in education with a focus on Science. He has been providing this program to Washington, Idaho and more recently Guatemala for the last 34 year. Sixteen of those years have been as a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador. Some of his work has flown to the International Space Station.
