With spring just around the corner, the East Brunswick Public Library is excited to announce the return of the EB Grow seed lending library. EB Grow is a joint project between the East Brunswick Public Library and the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission.
EB Grow is a seed library created to introduce area residents to gardening and encourage gardeners to save and donate seeds to future gardeners. It provides seed packs that do well in the New Jersey climate and are easy to grow for beginning gardeners.
This year’s packs include a pack featuring produce for the peak of summer, tomato salads, and a fall harvest collection. Supplies are limited; at this time, households can only make one request. Once this request is ready, it can be picked up at the library (2 Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick).
