When to Hire Your First Employee and How Much to Pay

Hiring your first employee is a big step. It increases costs dramatically and changes the owner's role from a solo doing everything to a business person with delegation, supervision, training and management responsibilities. This program will show you how to calculate the total costs and how much each hour the employee works will really cost you. You will be introduced to the many forms the employee has to sign and how to withhold taxes, make payments in a timely manner and what tax returns must be filed. Cost-cutting tips will also be provided for current employers. Immediately usable checklists, templates, forms and instructions for new employees will be provided to attendees.
