Description: A lot has happened since the COVID lockdown in March 2020 when the stock market dropped over 30% in one month only to recover to all-time highs and then undergo sharp ups and downs.  CPA and personal financial specialist Ed Mendlowitz will present an up-to-the-minute assessment of how to invest in the stock market, including whether you should invest in the stock market and how much of your funds should be in the stock market. Also discussed will be investment risks and comparisons with other types of investments, such as bank CDs, long term bonds, real estate, crypto currencies, commodities, private equity and venture capital funds, private businesses and alternative investments.

Presenter: Edward Mendlowitz, CPA, is emeritus partner at WithumSmith+Brown, PC and is one of Accounting Today’s 100 Most Influential People. Ed is the author of 29 books and has written over 1500 articles and blogs and developed and presented over 350 speeches to accountants and general audiences. He is a licensed certified public accountant and is accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in business valuation and as a personal financial specialist (PFS).
