Description: The franchise service sector comprises Business to Business and Consumer services. With Business to Business services, the franchise is marketing and working with other small business owners. With Consumer services, the franchisee is dealing with the general public. This sector of franchising has a low Investment, usually under $100,000. The business is generally open five days a week on evenings or weekends. The service sector is scalable by marketing and not additional locations. This area of franchising is generally easier to find help and has fewer supply chain issues. This sector has a number of franchise companies that are more recession resistant. The service economy has many favorable factors that would appeal to the first time business buyer.
