About This Book

"From the creator of Barely Functional Adult, a painfully relatable webcomic with over 130k followers on Instagram, comes a never-before-seen collection of incriminating short stories about exes, murder, friendship, therapy, anxiety, Hufflepuff, sucking at things, freaking out about things, calming down momentarily, melodrama, wrinkles, pettiness, and other wonderful delights."

Barely Functional Adult: It'll All Make Sense Eventually by Meichi Ng

Barely Functional Adult: It’ll all make sense eventually is a title that stands out. In this comic, Meichi Ng shares her experience of becoming an adult. Although this book may not be as relatable for teens, it is certainly a heads-up for what teens have coming in the future. Meichi Ng uses a neutral protagonist and explains her every issue after becoming an adult. From a simple break up to an identity crisis, the comic has it all. Some people have trouble connecting to this world because their creativity is completely different. If you’re one of those people, this comic is for you. Meichi Ng shares her troubles on how hard it was for her to express her creativity. The whole comic revolves around this idea that work was never really a thing for Meichi Ng. It shares her experiences in life and how hard reality actually is. However, all this is done in a comical way. Nothing is harsh and Meichi Ng shares her feelings comically. Overall, this is a great read for all ages. Teens can have fun with the comedy while the adults can relate to Meichi Ng’s struggles. I would highly recommend this comic to others.
